Sherpa
guide or Sirdar:- |
| |
|
On some of the
word famous routes such as Everest base camp and Annapurna
circuit, or on well-known trails with relatively few
practical problems, and for tea house treks, we use
professionally-trained sherpa or Sirdar. We are fully
confident in their ability to lead these routes competently.
The itineraries for these 'classic' have been tailored
somewhat to take off the main trails occasionally, and by
traveling with local crew you will experience more of Nepal
in the raw. On trek you are guided by English speaking
Sherpa or Sirdar, assisted by Sherpa staff. All main baggage
is carried by porters, yaks, or horses. |

What we
offer you on the Tea house Trek:- |
| |
|
In Nepal on more
popular treks enterprising villagers have build Tea -house
lodges. In recent year particularly, the standards of food
and accommodation have improved enormously. Many would vie
in character and comfort with the equivalent of European
alpine huts.
We offer a selection of tea house trek run to a high level
of service, using the very best lodges available.
(1) Bed and breakfast
(2) lunch and dinner
(3) Tea or coffee for every single meal.
(4) Warm sleeping bag for in cold season. |
| |
|
We have
different equipment for the camping treks:- |
| |
|
If your trek is
under canvas then we provide twin share dome or frame
sleeping tent, a mess tent, toilet tent and kitchen tent. if
you want a tent your self you can a small single tent
supplement. We provide lantern/ candle, thin sleeping
mattress all the cutlery and crockery. These treks are
staffed by a full Sherpa crew including Siedar (headman),
cook and assistant. Your main baggage is carried by porters,
yaks horses or mules. It is the Sherpa job to perform all
the camp works, including leaving the sites clean, and to
guide the rout. Food on treks is a mixture of western and
Asian dishes and there is plenty of it and plenty of choice.
Please note that this trek is 35% more expensive then the
tea house trek. |
