Also a 4-5 rating, this far western river is the longest and largest in Nepal. A two-day trek is required from Surkhet in the Terai. The next 90 kilometers are spent flying through spectacular landscapes and narrow gorges on some of the world's most challenging rapids. Then there is lovely 90 kilometers float with wildlife and beautiful scenery along the banks and opportunities for fishing in a wilderness nearly uninterrupted by human habitations.
