10 Days Langtang Trek

The langtang region is a collection of sherpa valleys north of kathmandu, it is closed to the Tibetan border. The rough road now reach as far as Dunche, only one day drive from kathmandu, yet the langtang remains relatively less trekked area so far.
We trek to up to langtang valley and exit by holy lake of goshankunda and crossing the lourebina la-15,100ft/ 4100m. on this trek you will see the excellent view into Tibet, meet hindu pilgrim and see hillside rhododendron, before dropping down the ridges and driving back to kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day Destination
1 Arrival.
2 Drive by local bus from Kathamandu to starting point of trekking Dhunche (8 hours 170 km 1930 m.) stay over night at lodge.
3 Trek to Syabru Village (6 hours 2145 m.) over night at lodge.
4 Trek to Lama hotel (6 hours 2650 m) and over night at lodge.
5 Trek to Langtang (6 hours 3451 m.) and over night at lodge.
6 Rest day for acclimatization and explore around traditional Tibetan Village. And over night at lodge.
7 Trek to Kyanjine Gomba (3 hours 3860 m.) take a lunch at tea house and walk up to the view point Brana (4210 m.) back to the lodge for over night.
8 Trek back to Lama hotel (6 hours) over night in tea house accommodation.
9 Trek to Syabru Bensi (5 hours walking) and over night in lodge.

Trek back to Dhunche (6 hours walking) over night at lodge.
11 Drive by local bus back to Kathmandu (9 hours 200 Km.)
12 Kathmandu.
13 Rest, shopping day.
14 Departure.
